Network for total ozone and total nitrogen dioxide measurements using high-accuracy ground-based spectrometers.
Since 2009 Central Aerological Observatory started to create Russian network for total ozone and total nitrogen dioxide measurements using high-accuracy ground-based spectrometers. The network use as Mini-SAOZ spectrometers as Brewer spectrophotometers:

SAOZ (mini)
SAOZ is UV-Visible (300-650 nm) diode array spectrometer developed at the Service d’Aéronomie in the late 80’s for monitoring stratospheric ozone. It is a diode array flat field spectrometer of 1 nm resolution looking at sunlight scattered at zenith during twilight. The data analysed by Differential Optical Absorption Spectrometry allow the retrieval of daily ozone and NO2 total columns at sunrise and sunset, as well as total water vapour and oxygen dimmer and the detection of Polar Stratospheric Clouds (PSC) and volcanic aerosols. The ozone measurement for the first time in the visible Chappuis bands between 450-600 nm, allows the continuous monitoring of the species throughout the year at the latitude of the polar circle, in all weather conditions.
BREWER spectrophotometer
The BREWER Spectrophotometer consists of a weatherproof spectrophotometer, azimuth tracker and stand. It provides near simultaneous observations of the total ozone column, SO2, and UV spectra. The two-axis tracking, appropriate filter selections, on-board wavelength calibration and data logging are managed through internal electronics and an IBM compatible host computer. Control software for the PC enables 24 hr scheduling and remote unattended operation. Brewer Mark III #222 spectrophotometer was installed at the station Dolgoprudny.
DOBSON spectrophotometer №107
Dobson №107 at the station Dolgoprudny was included in NDACC (Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change). Total ozone data were passed to WOUDC (World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre).
